I am taking cuttings of my pink goldflame and my oldfashioned yellow and white honeysuckle cuttings, english ivy, cuttings and seeds, hibiscus, peach, pink, red, plumbago imperial blue and alba white, yellow star creeping sedum, have small new plants outside I have to dig up before DH turns the garden over.. to send to any of you if interested.. also violets all colours ( they spread fast) , and yes, I am cutting some of my brug babies back to get ready to heave ho once they getoutdoors. SASE or BESE. I went to the Garden Show.after work . too many people, too many products I can get cheaper, had to walk two blocks to get there.. the Gardens were pretty ... found out the name of two trees still in their nursery pots that were given to me.. red crab apple and bradford pear.. didn't get too crazy only planted some garden peas, tall telephone sweet peas, trimmed and planted the red trumpet vine pieces, dug up some fat carrots.. transplanted some coneflowers and monarda warm and cloudy, tornadoes 45 miles north of us here, going back down to the 20's for lows next week.. I will cover anything tender that i uncovered today with the same leaves I pulled off of them since they are bagged up. If I see any seed sprouts between now and then I will cover with all the plastic dome and rectangle lids I have squirreled away and the 7 120x90 blue and red plastic table liners I dug out of our work trash bin inside.. they had a meetingin the Green Zone and threw them away after? What waste ..I also use all my used rectangle felt line vinyl table cloths from last season over my tenders when I see them come up to early.. lord I am rambling.. Bonnie Raitt was really good last night 5 stars.. all 6 ( count them) of my seedlings of Brugs are quite happy right now.. I want to toughen them up.. should I let them go play outside tommorrow? |
