I was looking so hard at the intruder I didn't notice how the rest looks so drab. The flower peak is about over. Here is a shot I took a couple of weeks ago. The bougainvillea is growing up thru a pittosporum tree I planted 30 years ago. I planted the bougainvillea soon after. Over the years the bougainvillea grew up thru the pittosporum so in the summer you just see the bougainvillea and in the winter when the bougainvillea drops its leaves, you just see the pittosporum tree. I was so clever and didn't even man to be!!

In that little corner I also have a lemon bush, see on the bottom left, a red oleander and see the kumquat the top is in the top left corner and then there is shoot shooting out in the middle down below.

edited to add that there is a wisteria in the lower right corner that looks small but it actually is a 6 foot standard in training!
