David_Paul, I think they'll be OK, especially since you're on the coast. They'll probably like it better than the freeze we've been having the last few days.

I just put more cardboard on the grass....mwaaa haa haaa. As for that rock in front, I saw a little piece of granite sticking out of the grass, and I was always afraid I would mow over it and ruin my mower, so I decided to dig the annoying little rock out. Well, it kind of just kept going, and it turns out that my house is built on a considerable amount of ledge. All of the the "little" rocks sticking out of my lawn are actually part of a granite hill. But, I'm actually very happy, I'm going to incorporate it into a new rock garden with a solar fountain that I'll make.
