Tissue cultured, it was never green to start to revert to. In it's infancy, it was more green than 'Snowbank'. And different. More a green leaf with a white scalloped edge. As the top struggled to break the white, 'Maya' type suckers (but tetraploid) developed along its trunk while the top lost it's variegation entirely. This plant is now totally green. A rich deep green. Right now just over 7' tall this strong structured plant has grown to this perfect form all of its own ..no shaping or pruning. Blooms are large, beautiful, and wonderfully fragrant. And the leaves a deep rich green and tetraploid 'thick'. The 'green' is really wonderful. Compare to the other brugs in the background. You can't miss it. Really stands out from all the others in the greenhouse. Also, now has one rich deep green pod ..open pollenated. And 2 others just starting with RK the pollen parent. I am really glad I kept this little reject growing. It has been at the tops in my enjoyment in growing brugs just watching it 'develop'. A true pleasure each time I see.
