New Orleans does a good job of making it seem festive with great food and wonderful lighting and decoration of all the historic homes. But no snow and warm. We went to the botanical garden and saw so many roses in bloom, and all decorated with Christmas lights. That was weird. Also all the blooming shrubs with white twinkle lights and the palms all light up along Canal street is odd. I took a picture of DH walking along the Mississippi with a sweet little working tug all decorated for Christmas laying along side the levee. That day was cool, in the 40's. Patti
