Winter of "52" My mom and dad lived in Truckee, Ca. My mom had gotten up and wondered why it was still so dark for 8 am. So she opened the front door and what greeted her was a solid wall of white. My dad had to crawl thru the attic and out the vent thing and out onto the roof. He then had to figure out where the door was so that he could dig the a path to it so mom could get out.
