Your first 7/14 post looks a lot like the ginger I have. It's a curcuma, but that's all I know. Any idea what yours is? I'm trying to find out what mine is called. It has a pinkish-purple tinge to the tips of the white petals (or sepals, or whatever the heck they are called)and a cream colored edge on the leaf. It's about 3 ft. tall. I have a some pictures of the flower in my camera right now--have the old 35MM so I have to finish the roll before I can post some pictures. Somewhere around here I have the pictures of the plant... Ah, found it!

I'm supposed to have surgery in a few more weeks and that will lay me up for at least a week. I'll have some time to surf and share things then...
