Then that magical event happens -- you have a bud and it starts to open and it actually stays on the plant. You're so excited because of all the rave reviews of the plant and all the pictures (sometimes, if you notice, there is only one angle of the bloom taken because that is its "best side"), and you cannot wait to see your bloom in person and take pictures to keep and show all your friends.
