This is all I had left of my finlaysonii I got from DL. It kept rotting on me. I took the leaf and stuck it in dirt and it has been there for 2 years. I had read on here somewhere that it may or may not do anything. I figured as long as it stayed green I keep it. Well I was inspecting really close the other day and this is what I found. Follow the stick down and you can see a nub. I guess that is a root? Does that mean this will eventually grow out?
