Here in ChCh it is damp & cool again - the ducks are wearing gumboots - they don't want to catch cold.
I used to feed them when I worked in town - a bit of bread by the river bank, very peaceful lunch breaks.
Had to stop as the C.D's were getting bolder, and being short in stature I thought they might see me as a better snack than bread.
(C.D = carniverous duck)
My dogs are envious of the trip to the beach, Chita loves to swim, in the water she becomes a crocodal.
(or is she a dalligator?)
Her sooky son only likes to go in up to his elbows.
