this is an empress tree in its third year. it needs to be pruned in te spring, because it is growing into the wax myrtle. i intended them to be close, but at the time i planted them i didn't realize i wouldn't be there to prune them to their desired shape. but anyways... im impressed. this tree seems to be less invasive in warmer climates than the colder climates like the mountains or somewhere like that
