I've been milking twice a day for this past week and finding it more enjoyable than I thought! We took our Jersey Belle in to the vet Thursday, got her shots, tests and such ~ barring any positive disease test results, we'll be able to start drinking the milk Monday. I'm SO excited!! I've missed fresh cow's milk ~ haven't had it since I was a kid. And ice cream made with REAL cream! I can feel my thighs growing as I type. *Giggle~ sort!*

And it'll really put the weight on Kenny, something he sorely needs. He's gained twenty pounds since he's been home from the hospital! YEEHAW! AND doing everything the doc says for him to do, except bed rest. ;) He just won't sit still for long. I'm able to get him to come in for a nap midday most days, but he's still got to be outside a lot even if it's just walking around. Atleast that means he's feeling great!
