daylilydaddy wrote: If any of you have seen me post you know what an animal and nature lover I am. I came from a nursing background and love a challenge to try and cure or relieve symptoms. My fiend say " If it's blind in one eye, 3 legged and skinny take it to George!" I just lost my little poodle Maggie this week. I feel lost without her. She was my couch and bed warmer. I have just 2 cats. Dolly rose(named after the madame in Anne Rices book "feast of all saints") and a new kitty that a friend had to get rid of due to housing. We have 4 dogs. 3 beagle mix pups we raised from babies, Payne, paddle foot and Brutus, an inside dog copper(doxie/chi mix) A set of peafowl, guinea fowl and chickens. We live deep in the woods of eastern KY. I went to college here and fell in love with the area. Theres 100 acres here with lots of woods, native plants and creeks. I wouldn't move for anything. My SO and I have lived here for about a year or so here now. The only thing he does not like is we can get no TV of any kind. Just through the computer(which is not really that bad, with netflix and major network free watching hooking computer to TV was the bet thing we could have ever done) We have 3 kids. 16, 15 year old boys and a 12 year old little girl. All 3 lived with us until ab out a year ago. The 15 and 12 year old went to live with their mother and the oldest wanted to stay with us. He may not me mine by blood, but He is mine! Well I have prob told you more then you wanted to know about me! It's just nice to see other Night owls out! George This is the creek in my front yard |
