Though DH is pretty amazing with the smoker. I used the recipe for the tomatoes and buttermilk dressing found in the The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook. Pretty fine. I also made sweet tea with mint as an homage to the meal. More beer and wine was drunk.

The Turkey was a small one. We have left overs as planned. Minimal cooking for a couple of days. DH is leaving for a week for the west coast and the Senior National rowing regatta. I will be happy with the extra turkey. My favorite.
