kell, It's very pretty. Last year I had lots of Daturas but this year only grew a triple purple.
this is my first year Snow, and I am thrilled with them. I have about 5 different kinds including the triple purple though it has not bloomed yet. But this one is so pure and classy. Hard to beat. years ago I bought a triple purple at the end of the summer in a 5 gallon pot, not knowing what it was and neither did the nursery. I thought it was hte most beautiful flower I had ever seen..........and then it died
Kelley... that is a lovely datura u got there. this is my 2nd yr. growing daturas. i am growing 6 different varieties of datura. each one has it's distinct characteristic and fragrance. of the 6 varieties are triple yellow, triple purple [aka black currant swirl], white with lilac hint along the tip, the alleged pink [actually white with mauve light brush effect along the lip of the petal], pure white, and triple white [this one came from Brugie as double white seedling - for some reason or the other i do not understand why the flower became triple bloom].
i love growing datura cause they never fail to bloom for me, aside from the fact they are care free! above all i love each distinct scent each and every datura has. no 2 datura are alike as far as i am concerned. as the growing season closes, i will surely save seeds to share with everyone.

Is this one the Missouri Marble? Its beautiful!! Be sure to save some seeds. Perhaps some of them will not come out without the variagation, but will still have the blue tint.
Its beautiful. :-) Its my twelfth year with Datura and I must confess, that I still find them beautiful and well worth to grow. I have two large beds with Datura this year and I enjoy to go `round and watch and smell every evening. Now, where its getting dark, before the flowers expand I have started to get up extra early. *lol* :-)
