I have just taken a new studio flat in Hong Kong, recently completely renovated and moved most of my things inside when I saw these things crawling all over the floor and on my brand new bed and new bedsheets

The photo with the round-ish one is taken on the corner of a tissue with a Macro lens on my DSLR and I even had to double the image size in photoshop to get a semi clear shot. It measures 1mm or slightly less.

The thinner one is taken on a wall with the same lens and measures 2mm long.

They are both semi-fast and are visible day and night, although have noticed the smaller ones tend to try to move away from light.

I have also seen over a dozen small 3mm maggot type things (no pics of these at the moment), I cant tell where they are coming from as they are being found along the skirting boards but no visible holes or anything.

Can anyone please tell me what they are and whether treating the place gets rid of them, I've called local pest control, but they may not be able to tell me the English name of these pests and I would very much like to know what I'm dealing with.

Many thanks!
