Victor, thanks for the welcome back :) It's been a busy spring and I'm going to try to make an effort to visit more often and keep up with all of you! Question for you, I recently picked up C. 'Golden Shadows' - love the foliage and want to make sure it gets planted in area where the foliage will really pop, you say a few hours of AM sun only, then it's in full shade or partial shade the rest of the day? Glad to see that your 'Black Lace' is finally blooming, maybe it will now make you eat your words, I seem to remember you said you weren't impressed with the plant? I can't believe how gorgeous ours is, although it can get a little unruly and as soon as it's done blooming we'll be whacking it back hard again to control it. My plan was to add Spirea 'Ogon' to this planting so it would really stand out, but it's doing a pretty good job all by itself :) Full sun is the key with this one to keep the foliage black and shiny. I haven't had any opportunities to get into the gardens with my camera, but a friend took this one last weekend - disregard the weeds, that's next week's project!
