Tropicals & Tender Perennials: Is this a Bromeliad? IF so could you name it?, 1 by Moofiepoo

I posted asking about this plant in my yard in another place. Someone thought it may be a bromeliad and suggested I come over here and ask. So here I am. This is in my front yard by the gate...been there 5 years that I know of. It has never bloomed for me. First on got this bright orangish pink in center and then it got the bloom. Now the other one is doing the same thing. I realized I may be able after all these years to find out what it is. I will add two pictures one of plant and one a close up of flower.
