Thanks Pirl, I have used the hot pepper years ago for the Bambi crowd. I now use DeerVik which has also changed to a mostly ground garlic creamy substance that resembles peanut butter. I was not used to putting it down low for little eating machines just these guys, see pic. It seems to work pretty well and lasts a long time. I dip those bamboo garden stakes, the skinny cheap ones, into it and put them around plants and shrubs they like to eat. Actually have not had a hosta totally eaten since I have been using it.
