I often hear people complaining that they have too many pinks in their collection. Well there are a whole collection of brugmansias hybridized by Ludger Schneider with Brenda Delph (of Seedsprout Nursery) as the seed parent. Collectively these brugs were nicknamed "Little Monkeys". I just love these orange brugs. This time of year, for me, I get really bright electric orange colors on Ludgers Summer Dream. They also tolerate the heat well thriving even during the long hot summers here in south florida. I have personally grown 3 of these "monkey" crosses and loved every one of them. If you are looking for a new color to add to your garden you should look to the "monkey's".
