You had me ROTFL over the "onions"-that just shows how much our DH pay attention to these things. I have 14 half moon shapes around my front walkway that have tulips & grape hyacinths in them-I had to work around the sprikler heads-I really wanted to totally line it, but unwilling to pay to have the line moved for some tulip bulbs.

Here is a schematic of 1 of the beds I just did this last fall-all I asked for for my Bday this last year was flowers, so I got shipments from Brecks, Spring Hill, Bluestone, MI Bulb, Brent & Becky's, Van Bourgian, & Dutch Bulbs that all had to go in this last fall (some of them are still in the garage...:()
