I am not sure if their is scientific backing for that claim but I feel I have seen results from trying to breed for certain recessive colors. So here is my new canna I have my eye all over. The foliage is a bright pink. I have yet to flower it so no idea yet on the flower color it has started to re-grow and I have not seen anything with colors quiet like it. Hopefully more breeding can make it even brighter pink. I am very excited about this one I will be sure to show more pics as it matures out this summer.
