We kept it in the bucket of water for several weeks and then tried to root the whole thing. I think it worked. It is as tall as I am and already has buds. If this works out we are going to plant it out where it gets more sun than the mother plant does and will then have two Adelines. Next year I should get lots of above the Y cuttings.
