I have a friend who owns a pet store locally so I stopped by to visit and check out her new store and while I was there I found some cork wood which I wasn't even looking for at the time but since it was there I bought it. It was one large piece of wood that I cut into 2 pieces and mounted my first 2 hoyas. This is H. imbricata. I almost killed this plant once but managed to save a small piece. It is growing and after seeing pics online of how this one likes to attach itself to trees I thought it would be a good choice for my first attempt at mounting a hoya. |
