What a deal tiger.. seeing the owl. You know you're a dyed in the wool Bird Watcher when you can sense something a little different. Like suddenly all the little birds are hiding... hum, must be a hawk or an OWL!

Kinda along those lines, DeJuncos are back here. A good sign to expect same or more visitors from last year. Right on time.

Weird thing yesterday~ It started out at around 70* and when I went out I saw several Robins! They must have been wondering if spring was here. Any thoughts of that were squelched when it plunged down to 40 last night. The south wind couldn't hold it off any longer. The weather sure in interesting here in North TX, and the wildlife is becoming more and more predictable by it.
I will be watching today to see what the cool brings in.
