I wanted to share photos-more for the idea of using 2 out of 3 plants for arrangements. The Red Dragon (will edit with species name) grew about 3 foot tall-heavy, jointed burgunday stems-stayed looking good over a week. I didn't cut the long stems-will next season-should be stunning. It is a fall bloomer, with delicate little white flower clusters. The 2nd plant is the Arum Italicum. I think the leaves that I have in the vase are entering their 4th week of being cut. They are active in early spring and late fall-can handle some heavy frosts. 3rd plant-crested Japanese fern-Not good for arranging. |
