Here is my newly constructed plant shower with H. nummulardoides hanging, after a shower, on its new expansion rod hanger. I have to say that my plant shower is now the ultimate, and I'm very happy with it. The shower works like this: I purchased and RV sink off ebay to go into my greenhouse for the summer, and now that summer is over, I moved it into the shower we don't use in our upstairs bathroom. I took and aquarium filter media bag ( a fine mesh bag sort of like pantyhose, which would work equally well), and tied it to the end of the sinks drain hose. This means I don't have to worry about how much soil or perlite gets washed down the drain, because it is caught in the bag, which can be cleaned out as needed. I hooked a hand held sprayer on to my shower head and spray the heck out of the plants. The only missing portion to this shower was the expansion rod, which thanks to your idea Ann is now in place. It will hold the heaviest of hanging baskets, which sure beats trying to hold it in one hand and shower it with the other.
