I have mine sitting in a saucer, which I dump out when there's excess water in it, so that it doesn't sit in water. I see that your's is in a solo cup - there is nothing wrong with that, but multiflora seems to like lots of room (I find that it doesn't need to be potbound, like most hoyas).

Mine wasn't that big when I first got it in March of this year, and then when I increased the pot size it just took off. It sits right next to a big balcony sliding door, and gets eastern exposure (morning sun).
