sewcrazy wrote: I've been a lurker for a while & thought maybe someone could tell me if this brug has another name. I got it winter of 2000 from a lady in LA. She said she got hers from a cutting of a plant in another lady's yard. I believe she said the other lady brought it from Germany. (The German lady's name was Anna & so that's what she called the plant.) The inside of the flower is not as white as Frosty Pink and the pink is not as dark as Pink Favorite. It stays the same shade of pale pink. It blooms constantly, not in flushes. It blooms very young - when only two or three feet tall. It has a "bushy" habit. It does not send single stalks straight up. Many go out more like branches. The leaves are not serrated but wavy/rippley on the edges. The fragrance is not as strong as others I have. It forms seed pods without my help. It did seem to get more yellow leaves than my other varieties when the temp. got to 90. It roots very easily & I now have quite a few of her! Does she sound the same as any other brug you know of? This message was edited Sunday, Nov 3rd 2:26 AM |
