(prob woodchucks, but there is a strong minority opinion for destruction by yahoos brought in to do maintanence work by the landlord)
i put up a little fence, moved some marigolds to behing the gazanias, and stuck a pinwheel in right by them.
2 came back fast, one didn't make it.
i got another bud, and the next day
that plant was destroyed.
DH made a cage out of chicken wire - really - with hooks to hold it in the ground. Since then i have had a total of about 6 blooms, which were pretty, but hardly worth all that. And they were all yellow.
i really hoped for an assortment.
o yeah - the area with the 4. one finally bloomed last week.
and it is yellow too.
