Beginner Gardening: Plant ID #1, 1 by amandapace

The red flowers looked like this when we moved in, but now have no flowers and dead brown woody stalks. Some green foliage is left, but this bed really holds moisture, and some of them died off completely after the large amounts of rain (I assume that's why).
