Gail - nice plants! I think the second one is a hoya australis, I don't think it is a kerri cross - I am not familiar with any kerri crosses....they usually have white flowers though. Have you seen it bloom or did the lady who sold it to you tell you? Maybe someone else could chime in here, but I will include an australis pic so you can compare the leaves.

And Dee - congrats on your obovata blooming, mine is getting to be a good size and no signs of flowers yet. I have alot of new growth right now, for the first time it is shooting out huge thick vines in every direction. Can you post a picture of your flowers? As for kerri, my leaves are kind of dull too, sort of a matt finish. The leaves are a bit greener and glossier when younger, but it doesn't last long. I think it is natural to the plant, but alot depends on environment and also where the plant comes from - I don't know how many different kerri clones are out there, but with some hoya species, like carnosa for example, the plants will vary in looks.
