You know how it is, there are certain plants that you don't exactly ignore, or dislike, but you've never taken much notice of them before.Well, this year I had some seeds of an annual rudbekia in one of my exchanges, so I grew them on, and put a couple in my garden down the bottom. I have been so impressed with them! they've flowered their socks off all summer, and are only just finishing now, and that's only because the sun no longer reaches them, and it's been a bit wet and manky.Next year I plan to grow loads together ,with verbena bonariensis coming up through them, should make a lovely show through into autumn.So a big thanks you to who ever put them in my envelope,'cos from now on I'll not be without them.
