And this is one of the larger flowered ones which has just finished blooming. It too has been outside for many years - at least 6 in this case. Obviously it is not very large for a plant that old but it dies back each winter then leafs out in the spring. This is the same pot it was in when I bought it and I have never changed the potting mix and I am afraid I have rarely fertilized it during the years. It is on a part of my property that does not get any irrigation - only the rain. Not wanting a thorny plant in the house I just left it out, thinking it would die that first winter, and all these years later here it is. This one is in full sun the baby one is in a fairly shaded location. Who knew????
