Here is another vine worthy of your consideration if you like big gaud. It grows all over here. 1 vine will cover a huge chain link fence in just a year or 2. It is so spectacular though. Worth the effort to keep hacking it back. I have one in a pot I have been training as a standard for a few years. Which is a laugh for it has twined all over and also needs to be hacked back.
