I've had company for past three days, my youngest son, wife and oldest daughter from the coast were here. Had a wonderful visit. When we were coming home yesterday from a quick sightseeing trip we saw this Great Horned Owl sitting on my fence. So as soon as i could park the car, we tried to take pictures. I was surprised that it sat there for quite a while, altho we could not get close. Here is what i got using my telephoto. He is a very large bird and was very interested in the small birds in the crabapple trees.
