The picket fence is just on the corner, when we move into the house 34 years ago the kids in the neighborhood as to lazy to walk around the corner on the sidewalk so I had a worn path in the lawn. The picket fence a flower garden helped solve the problem.
This year we put up a vinyl fence on the other side of the house for privacy and a picket fence to close off the area, I will be working on new garden beds this fall. I have a bunch of Canterberry bells I grew from seed that will go in the new beds.

Sticks, corgis say cottage garden to me. I have a little Brussel Griffon she just loves the new picket fence area, a place for her to run.
