It was so chlorotic and yellow when I found it, but being the plant junkie that I am, I figured I couldn't pass up the chance to nurse yet one more plant back to health, so I put the poor thing in my cart and drug it home. Kell was shaking her head at me wondering what in the world would I want with this thing! It had clearly been treated like a cacti with a lot of sun (and some sun burn) and not much water. Well, a bit of miracle grow and about three months later and here she is. Green, happy and everything to the left of the red marks is new growth (8" pot). I water it everyday (which it needs in our dry heat) and so far it's happy as a clam. I didn't repot it but it might need some fresh soil later. (gotta love Miracle grow!!) I might just get this hoya thing figured out! The few dozen I have growing inside are just sitting there. Lumps on logs! |
