The mini's do really well with few disease problems and many get to 2' or 3'. You have to be careful buying them though. So many growers, especially those that grow for the big box stores, stick 4 or 5 cuttings in a pot to make it look full. I have had great difficulty keeping those multi plant pots alive and separating them is always a problem too. Also, the mini Red Cascade climber is a fantastic, disease free rose that repeat blooms many times throughout the year here.
