I don't reduce my photos. Many reasons. I want to keep them in their larger size in case I need them for a commerical purpose and I have to do each one 'manually'. I am guessing that the site programs do that automatically now-hence the thumbnail.

My question is - why do you keep photo files so large in your 'storage'. They are supposed to only be used on the site, meaning they will only be viewed on a computer screen.

Also about links. They are not as effective as thumbnails. Secondly, lots of people ignore them. I have put links to Plant Piles next to a photo and had people ask me in the very next post questions that would be answered if they clicked on the link. And it happens alot.
