Note that both are forms of the same species, Sinningia speciosa.

I believe I sowed all of these at the same time - December 2005. The 1503xRegina went completely dormant for a bit, and when it came back, I potted it up one size. The 1503 did not go dormant. The difference in size is huge, though I don't know if it's also genetic.

I have another speciosa that is labeled "blue" that has leaves even bigger than the 1503xregina cross. That one went dormant too. And, I have another with a different AC number - that one is bigger than 1503 but smaller than the others.

Notice how the regina cross has red-backed leaves. The other with a different AC number has veined leaves and is gorgeous. Buds forming on all of them :-)
