The stem coloration is different than any other I have seen on Xanthosomas at times the new stems are yellow to pink and compared to all my other species this one seems quite odd. I have not been able to contact my friend in Costa rica. Has anyone seen this form?? It reminds me of colocasia coffee cups but a xanthosoma form.
