At first I was disappointed because all I saw was dozens of cyclers on the paved trail. But as I walked along in the grass, I saw a trail leading back into the woods. I only walked about 200 yards when I ran into this little creek with all the tillandsias. I also saw an orchid growing on a tree. The orchid forum folks told me it was the Florida Butterfly orchid. It wasn't in bloom, but I know where it is so I'm going to keep an eye on it. Here's a pic of another huge tillandsia I saw in the same area.
