For the article too... I had been watching this wren from farther away. It never looked so much like the Carolina or the House variety. Confirmed it with Maureen at WBC as a Bewick's.

Seems many of us here are conserving this sleek little Wren. My fellow/brother birdwatcher in Arlington TX says he sees them a lot over there too. He hears their song first, then he looks for them. Now I have been trained to do the same with several of our SW bird species.

Very special little bird...
