pirl, I don't have lids on the cups; I covered them w/the baggie and I'm hoping that the condensation and moisture from the soil they're on should be enough. I've had many, many outdoor "cold frame" seedlings lost b/c rain got into the ventilation and rotted/washed away the seedlings. I only have 2-3" of soil in the cups.
