Kell-oops!...I'm in YOUR stomping grounds over here, aren't I?, lol...well, I just never come over here, because I don't normally have anything to share. I occasionally come over here to lurk and see new creations, like fluffles! Omgosh! And, basically lament over how full and healthy everyone's brugs are...this is our third drought year in a row, here in N. Tx., and we are STILL on water restriction(only allowed to water one day a week, or fined heavily). So, to me being able to see blooms like this, in my own garden, is a real treat. I've not had any blooms all summer. And, I think these are the first ones I've had, since last winter. They seem to be so relieved to have a break from the heat, and to have some humidity, that they kinda go nuts. You can see the variegated one has no foliage, except for the top, where it is bunching up, because it is filling in so fast, lol... Guess I goofed the name up. It is peaches n cream, not dreams. But, hey? Wouldn't that be a great name if these two crossed?, lol... Do y'all (yes, I'm from Tx.) think that I could cross these two? I've heard doubles need to be crossed with singles, so would this work? (don't know why the photo is looking so tiny, but should enlarge when you click on it...) -T |
