I have a sunroom (all glass thing like those FL rooms with the curved glass and brown framing) on the east side of our home that I keep all my plants in for the winter. I only heat this room when I the temps are going below 35 outside. Just to keep it from freezing in there. My boston ferns look the worst each year. Right now they look ratty. Something about just being brought indoors makes them turn yellow and drop. My Asp ferns hold out longer and do not lose hardly any leaves in there. MIL keeps hers in her home but puts them in a room with bright light and keeps the heat on about 40. Hers drop leaves but they still stay green.
This is when I started bringing things in.
