Some issue of Horticulture were great this year, as they featured EE in non-tropical gardens. That really inspired me to integrate my EE in my perennial beds.

Favorite EE this year (it changes every year):

OK three favorites...
A. gageana - the most robust EE I have. Like Macrorrhiza but shorter and much fuller.
C. Fontanesii - this was a spectacular giant (6' x 6'), the purple stems made it a stand out.
A. lutea - the chartreuse stems are incredible!!!!! (see image)
