Hello Ginger Afficiandos.

While I think gingers (and their fans) are amazing, they are not one of my areas of specialization. I have just one. Would someone kindly save me the research and give me a bit of guidance?

Thanks to the generosity of someone on this site, I know have this lovely pot of gingers. I believe they are a cone/comb ginger of some sort. They looked lush and full in my garden this year, but did not bloom.

Our outdoor gardening season is definitely over now. What should I do with these? Should I keep them on the sunporch and keep watering them like a tropical houseplant? Cut them back and stick the pot in the basement? Let them die back and then do something else?

Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

Erick
