Very sad looking but alive. I have had them bloom in 1 gallon cans, sad looking but blooming. But I rarely fertilized them and my watering can be hit or miss at times. I do find if you fertilize a lot in small pots and make sure they are watered regulary they actually can do quite well and not look so sad. And even if so retarded in growth, as soon as I pot them up in a bigger pot they take off like they were never tortured so. As far as Ying earlier, I do not think esp if starved like mine are but they can Y shorter for sure. I just went out and took a picture of my 3 year old seedlings! The plastic cups are so faded now and the bottoms are so brittle they are cracking. I think I will repot them today and let you know how they do. LOL |
